Hazlewood Aventures– Hazlewood Castle Activities

These Terms apply to all bookings and activities delivered by Hazlewood Adventures at Hazlewood Castle.
1. Booking & Payment
- Full payment is required to secure your booking.
- Bookings are confirmed only once payment is received.
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Payment processing is handled securely via Rezdy.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Customer Cancellations
- More than 14 days before event: Full refund minus admin fee.
- 7–14 days before event: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days: No refund.
Group bookings may have separate terms agreed at time of booking.
Weather
Activities operate in most weather conditions. Severe weather decisions are made at our discretion for safety reasons. If cancelled by us, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
3. Participation Requirements
Participants must:
- Follow all safety instructions
- Attend mandatory safety briefings
- Wear appropriate clothing
- Disclose relevant medical conditions
- Meet minimum age/height/weight restrictions where applicable
We reserve the right to refuse participation where safety may be compromised.
4. Health & Safety
Hazlewood Adventures complies with UK Health & Safety legislation.
Participants acknowledge that outdoor activities carry inherent risk. All reasonable measures are taken to minimise risk, but participation is voluntary.
5. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded
Our liability for other losses is limited to the total booking value.
We are not liable for:
- Loss of personal belongings
- Indirect or consequential losses
6. Insurance
We maintain appropriate Public Liability Insurance for all activities delivered at Hazlewood Castle.
7. Behaviour Policy
We reserve the right to remove participants without refund for:
- Unsafe behaviour
- Intoxication
- Aggressive or abusive conduct
- Failure to follow instructor guidance
8. Photography & Media
We may capture images for promotional purposes. You may opt out at any time by informing staff on arrival.
9. Data Protection
All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, government restrictions or natural disasters.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
